Nicole Chacho, Registered Intern
Nicole Chacho is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) with her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida. She completed a 1,000-hour internship at Orlando Health on the inpatient rehabilitation floor addressing the client’s cognitive, emotional, psychosocial, and behavioral abilities. In addition to her work in inpatient rehabilitation, she has clinical experience from involvement across the United States, specifically at Colorado State University’s neurophysiology lab, Quality Living Inc. Brain and Spinal Cord Specialists, the University of Central Florida’s Communication Disorders Clinic, and Boys Town Behavioral Health Center.
Nicole has received specialized training in the areas of recent and long-term disability, family therapy following traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, aphasia, chronic pain, trauma and trauma-related disorders (PTSD), anxiety, and depression. Nicole enjoys working with clients and families on strategies to improve overall functioning and quality of life utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches, such as cognitive rehabilitation, cognitive behavioral therapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
Nicole is available Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 12pm-8pm.
Self pay is $100 for 50 min and can take Staywell Medicaid and Cigna.
