Melanie Cavallaro is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with a dedication to help others improve their quality of life through counseling.
Melanie is a University of Central Florida alumni where she earned a degree in Education and later pursued a graduate degree in Counseling & Psychology from Troy University.
As a former teacher and certified school counselor, she has worked with families and
youth for more than 14 years. She has advocated for individuals throughout her entire
career to ensure the best possible outcome for all those she served. Her training in
restorative practices, suicide prevention, and trauma informed care provides additional
skills to work with clients more effectively.
Melanie’s passion is supporting individuals and couples through the process of
improving mental health, addressing relationship difficulties, or adjusting to
challenging life changes. She believes that people have the ability to develop the
skills needed to live their best life. Her counseling approaches include Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Mom and Friday 10am- 4pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3pm-9:30pm
